Dursey Coastline facts

• Island Access: Dursey Island is famous for being home to Ireland’s only cable car. It is the only way for locals and visitors to cross the narrow Dursey Sound.

Location

The Dursey coastline is located at the very tip of the Beara Peninsula in West Cork. It sits at the end of the R572 road, about a two-hour drive from Cork City. It is one of the most westerly points on the Wild Atlantic Way.
